"Escape from Goshen" was an amazing adventure! Readers experience the point of view as Jewish children knowing that they will be slaves in Egypt. Highly recommend this title. :-D

I think Avishai was wrong about the mud in the Nile. I thought there were sticks at the bottom of the Nile that dug up mud, and that's why the river was so muddy. **)

I think that Leah was sure Moshe was going to free the Israelites from the Egyptians. **)

I think the rainbow was real, because God wanted the Israelites to go into Israel. **)

Bonnie,

Great job! I think that you should change the name to Land of Goshen; I think it attracts readers and gives a broader interpretation of the story. My favorite character was Jamila. Although she lost her son, she did not act like her husband toward Jacob and Leah's family, blaming them immediately. The cats are great, also. :]

Bonnie,

I loved the story; it was great! I had great time reading the story. My favorite part of the story was when they started dancing at the end. **) **)

it was a nice story and i like the idea of making a series.i think you should keep the name as slaves of goshen instead of the land of goshen, but it is your choice.my favorite character is Accacallis because she sings, which reminds me of you. ;-)

Had the pleasure of finishing the book today!! It was a nice look into the Exodus story from a child's view and gave the kids and me an opportunity to speak about this and other Bible stories. Regarding the rainbow, I like Dovid's focus on the miracle of faith, regardless of whether the rainbow was a vision of God or not.

Great job Bonnie!!! Thanks!!! 8-D
