ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
Most of all I would like to thank my father, Nick Gordon, whose careful, thoughtful and creative editing has accompanied me since I learned to write; my brother Seth, associate artistic director of the Repertory Theater of St. Louis, whose literary eye has always helped me even though I never wrote a play; my mother Carol Gordon-Arian, who is always ready to broadcast her children's accomplishments to "the immediate world"; and my brother Gabriel, music director of the Albuquerque Youth Symphony, for just being the coolest baby bro a big sister could have.
